Osmosis is a process in which flows from more dilute to more concentrated solution through a semi permeable membrane. Whereas in a reverse osmosis technology by the application of pressure, the flow of water in its natural process of Osmosis is reversed so that the water passes from a more concentrated (Impure water) to more dilute (pure water) form through a special semi permeable membrane with holes as small as 0.0001 microns. These membranes can stop even the smallest of dissolved solids like sodium and lead.

The purification system involves a combination of Presediment filter, which removes the dirt, dust, sand and other visible particles. The carbon filter removes the Organics, Solvents and Pesticides from water. It is also reduces bad taste and odour. The water than passes through the R.O. membrane which only allows pure water molecules to pass through, thus purifying the water at the molecular level. The bacteria and viruses cannot pass through the membranes and are passes to the water stream. The water thus obtained is in its purest form.
